Are you enjoying paying four dollars for a gallon of gas? Well, get ready, because the cost could sky-rocket to "Ten Dollars A Gallon" before too long!

You can give thanks for paying through the nose, when you fill up the next time, to wacko environmentalists and members of the Democrat party, who are being held hostage by these socialists. You will hear people like Barack Obama talk about finding "Alternative Sources Of Energy," so that we break our dependence on foreign oil. But, Obama isn't talking about drilling for oil in our country. No, perish the thought of disturbing our pristine environment, "Where The Deer And The Buffalo Play."

Obama is talking about spending billions on unproven methods for breaking our dependence on foreign oil!

Memo To Those Who Believe There Is An Alternative To Oil: There Ain't No Such Animal!

If we had started drilling in Alaska ten years ago, we wouldn't be faced with having to sell "Our Souls To The Devil" in order to drive to work. Those on the left were more concerned with protecting the caribou and other wild life, than the survival of man. So, they did what they do best. They found a leftist court that decreed, there would be no drilling in ANWR. The precious caribou were saved, but Americans continued their dependence on foreign oil. In the meantime, socialist groups continued to howl for more research dollars to be used to study "Alternative Sources Of Energy." 

The Chinese are drilling in our backyard, which is off the coast of Florida. The CHICOMS are expected to strike a Motherlode of oil one day. If that doesn't tick you off, consider this bit of news that I am sure you can use. WWW.CNSNEWS.COM is reporting that there are "huge basins of untapped oil on federal lands throughout the United States."

But, there is one little problem. Most of this priceless product lies underneath, "National Parks And National Monuments." The other problem? Environmental laws and restrictions, precludes drilling in these areas. Again, we are caught between a rock and a hard place, thanks to the socialists left!

It seems that every year, congress puts on this dog and pony show, whereby these hypocrites march gas executives up to Capitol Hill, and congress rails against the high cost of gasoline, and the big profits that are being realized by big oil. This is called "Capitalism." And the hypocritical Democrats know this. But, they feint outrage, hoping to convince a gullible public that the high cost of gasoline is the fault of "Greedy Big Oil." Economics 101 teaches us, that the high cost of gasoline is because of "Supply And Demand." Even a dullard congressman should know this, right?

The other reason that the price of a gallon of gasoline is so high is because of recalcitrant Democrats, who have voted time and time again, against drilling for new sources of oil "Anywhere In The United States." Yet, these people pretend that they are shocked and dismayed at the cost of gasoline!

Democrats are the problem!

As I write this story, these same hypocrites have in their hot little hands, a copy of a report, which was requested "By Congress," from the U.S. Department of Interior's Bureau of Land Management (BLM). The report tells congress that there are some 270 "Million Acres" which is under the jurisdiction of the federal government, "Where Oil And Gas Could Potentially Be Extracted."

The bad news is that over half of the 270 million acres are off limits to drillers. Nice!

The BLM report stated the following:

"The total onshore is 31 billion barrels. Of that, 19 billion barrels are currently inaccessible or 62 percent. A little over 2 billion barrels, or 8 percent, is accessible under what we call standard lease terms. If you add in the 85.9 billion barrers of oil that lie offshore, as determined by the Interior Department's Minerals Management Services, there are 117 billion barrels of oil on lands owned or managed by the U.S. government"

Democrats and the environmental crowd will tell you that they have blocked "All Offshore Drilling." So, there!

If you thrown in all of the oil that is available on privately held land, the total number of barrels of oil could rise to 139 billion.

That is more than the oil reserves in Iran, Iraq, Russia, Nigeria and Venezuela. This is simply mind numbing!

The BLM study declared the largest untapped oil deposit in the United States, can be found in, "Surprise," ANWR, the Artic National Wildlife Refuge.

Gosh darn it, that's off limits, because of the precious "Caribou," that contributes so much to our existence.

Think of it, we could become oil independent, because we are literally "Sitting On A Gold Mine," in places like Oregon, Washington state, Montana, Wyoming, Florida, and to the surprise of some, in the Appalacian Mountains."

But, members of the Democrat Party, and enviromentalists are killing us, because they are more interested in animals than people.

Truth my friend, is indeed, stranger than fiction!

  2. Aza, as you know, hunters are the "Original" environmentalists, not these commie bastards that you see out here. I am all for protecting the environment, but, when our very existence is threatened, i.e., do we drillin areas where we know oil is,or protect an animal that contributes "Jack," I say drill. Besides, the wacko environmentalists have convinced everyone that the drilling would screw up the entire area in ANWR. Nothing could be further from the truth!

  5. My heart goes out to the guy. however, my heart also goes out to the family of "Mary Joe Kopecne." People have forgotten how this young woman drowned in Kennedy's car. He swan to shore, leaving this woman to die, a thousand deaths. Her death was not reported until the next day by the Kennedy clan. It just proves, "Be Nice To People."

  10. Arta's posting sounds like something coming from a "LIBERAL" college student. You, Arta, must be young enough to be scared by the things "NATURE" does every year for 150 years since "RECORDS" have been kept. in my near area The weather man gives the record high temp or even low temp for the record on this day. The interesting thing is that the "RECORD" indicate that the last time high temp occurred in "RECORD" was 100 years and 50 years increment. !!!!!!!!!

  14. Of course there is an alternative to oil! The European Union that takes climate change, the increasing dependence on fossil fuel, and rising energy proces seriously has put an comprehensive energy policy in place. They have a 20 % target for renewable energy, and a 10% bidning minimum target for biofuls in transport by 2020. There is also a new fuel, E85, with a mixture of up to 87% ethanol, on the market. And in the US we have about 6 million fuel-flexible vehicles. The problem is that most of them have to run on gasoline as the number of gas stations, carrying E85, is around 1,200. (That is the same amount of gas stations carrying E85 Sweden, with a population of 9 million, has). The European inventors is also already on their second generation of biofuel. These are not made by food stuff (and affecting food prices) but by waste.

Well Miss Caroline, unfortunately we do not have the infrastructure, or the economic incentives ....yet.....to legitamize the other energy sources.....this country is fighting for air, all the while its chocking itself with its own hands....wind solar photovoltaic, nuclear, hydrogen production thermal depolymerization, and a few other all have the unrealized potential...but I dont see it happening yet.....riff

  16. I would think paying $4 a gallon for gas is a huge incentive? Actually that was what got the Europeans going, they have had prices like this for a long time. I visited Sweden in March and was charged $8 a gallon! And McKinsey found that we, by capturing the potential availability from existing technologies with an internal rate of return (IRR) around 10 percent, could cut global energy demand growth by half or more over the next 15 years...

  20. I wanna know why every car company isn't working to put out an electric car like the one Aza posted about. You telling me this guy could rig his car that easy (cost him a couple grand if i remember correctly) and the big motor companies can't figure it out?
    No more oil dependence. Zero. No worries about Alaska or anywhere else. No more pollution and cities choked by smog.
    Sounds great - but then I guess the Satanists running the oil companies wouldn't get their billion a quarter.

  26. I agree, she made the debt because of her ego. So, let the cow pay her own way. But, this is part of the blackmailing that is going on behind the scenes. She is saying, "Either Pay My Debt, Or I Don't Campaign For You." At least, without the passion that she would display if Obama pays the debt. MSNBC is hung up on this stupid idea that Obama needs Hillary as his Veep. They are saying that she could bring white women, and white males, who lack a college degree. The way that I see it, these people have a choice, vote for John McCain, and he will continue a Bush third term, or look to change the direction this country is headed in. It pisses me off that our side had eight years in the White House, and screwed everything up.I am also pissed that all we have to offer is John McCain. I am tired of the "War Hero Stuff." Vietnam ain't going to put gas into my SUV, or pay my electrical bill. If being a Vietnam Vet would accomplish all of this, I would qualify as a hero too. Anyone who served in that hell hole is a hero to me. Personally, I like G.W., but the man is just too hard headed. His "My Way Or The Highway," killed the GOP, along with his overspending. The man could have been a legend, but he will be forever remembered as the guy who got us involved in Iraq; and the man who screwed up our economy.
