"LIBERALS HAVE WRECKED AMERICA'S EDUCATIONAL SYSTEM"

As a young boy growing up in the South, I attended segregated schools. Now, before some of you "Pantywaist Libs" break out the kleenex and start weeping, "Don't." My teachers were not only highly educated, they were also anxious to pass on their knowledge to their young charges!

Seeking a better life for their brood, my parents moved us to Brooklyn, New York. I remember well, going to P.S. 20, and being told that I would have to repeat the sixth grade, because the schools in the South "Were Inferior To Northern Schools." I was shocked and also angry. The smart ass administrator told me that if I passed an appitude test, showing that I was on the same level as the students in the seventh grade, I wouldn't have to be humiliated and attend the same school as my baby sister. When I looked over the material, I chuckled quietly to myself. I then proceeded to "Ace" the test!

Back then, there was a hunger in the African-American community to learn. If you really think about it, we weren't that far removed from slavery. Maybe, this was one of the driving forces that made most of us excel in school. I heard Meredith Viera say the old day, "Kids Are So Much Smarter Today, Than When We Were Children." I wondered what statistics had she looked at, because although children have more gadgets to play around with, "They Are Not Smarter."

One thing these amateur neuropsychologists can't seem to understand is that children of today go through the same developmental stages that kids went through two hundred years ago. If you are one of those who think kids are smarter today than we were, I have an interesting test for you to perform. This test is predicated on you having some semblance of intelligence. If you meet this criteria, then next try engaging one of today's "Wunderkins" in a conversation. Show them a real watch, the ones with a sweeping second hand, numbers, and so forth. Ask them to tell you the time. You may be surprised that most of today's geniuses can't tell time with a "Real Watch." Next, ask them to "Write A Short Composition." Again, you may be surprised to learned that "They Don't Know How To Write." The idea of a composition, forget it. Children today lack an imagination. There are of course other ways to measure intelligence. When we compare our kids with children from China, India, Japan, Pakistan, Korea, "They Come Up Way Short."

Our educational system is in an acute critical state. The patient is on life support; and the prognosis is "Poor." What has happened to our educational system? Liberalism, that is what happened!

Of course, when you have liberals running around telling Blacks and Hispanics that they don't have to work for a living, and that the government will take care of them for the rest of their lives, there is no incentive to go to school or to work. When you factor in "Babies Having Babies, And Those Babies Are Smoking Crack-Cocaine," which by the way wipes out millions of brain cells, why are we surprised at the poor showings in our urban schools? I would be remiss if I didn't say that many of the liberal teachers don't give a rat's ass about these kids. They are on the job for two reasons, (1) To collect a fat paycheck, and (2) Retire in comfort!

I know there are millions of inner city school teachers who will become defensive about what I'm saying. However, their defensiveness will not stop me from telling "The Truth." Now, that is not to say that there aren't some eager teachers who can't wait to receive their Master's and teacher's certification, and then march out to take on the world. However, once they face reality, and that is a roomful of knuckleheads who aren't interested in learning, even their spirits can be broken. And, it is not long before they start acting like their apathetic peers!

When I started public school in New York City, "Boy Was I In For A Shock." I was called, "Country And Farm Boy," because of my heavy Southern accent. I was also told, "Man, You Don't Have To Say Yes Sir To These Crackers."

Talk about a culture clash. That was yours truly, and African-Americans from the North. I found most of them to be only a step above the intelligence of an animal from the jungles. Many of them acted as though they had been raised in the jungle. Liberalism had already taken their spirits and trashed it. Keep in mind, this was "The 1960's."

By the way, I didn't listen to their learned advice on stopping my use of the reverent term, "Sir Or, Yes Ma'am." They didn't understand that, where I came from, "Sir And Yes Ma'am" was a sign of respect. Many of these people had no idea what the word respect meant. Hell, they didn't even respect themselves! 

To this day, I can still see this young Black kid, cursing out Mr. Kane, my homeroom teacher. He used "F Words, And Any And Everything Else." Where I came from, that kid would have been laid out by his teacher, and when he got home, he would have found his dad or mom waiting for him at the door, ready to mete out more physical punishment. But, alas, we have become enlightened today. We have done away with "Such Archaic Family Values." Instead, we get our advice from "Oprah And Dr. Phil." Although their advice on child rearing has failed parents, time and time again. However, parents, "Black And White," continue to seek the counsel of "Saint Oprah To Lead Them To The Promise Land Of Parenting."

Sad to say, but many of today's young inner city children have the same fund of knowledge as a slave did in the 1880's. At least, the slave had an excuse. He or she was precluded from learning. But, many of these people risked being "Beaten To An Inch Of Their Lives" in order to learn how to read a "First Grade Primer."

The Associated Press reported recently that schools in a third of the 50 biggest U.S. cities have a graduation rate of lower than "50 Percent." And the A-P says 17 of the 50 largest cities had graduation rates lower than 50 percent!

Detroit, Indianapolis and Cleveland had the lowest graduation rates. But, the news gets even more depressing. The standardized report said that 1.2 million young people drop out of school each year. Former Secretary of State Colin Powell called this distressing news, "A Catastrophe." Powell is the founding chairman of America's Promise Alliance. Members of this group says it plans to conduct meetings in every state over the next two years. Its purpose: To better prepare students for college and work. It seems like I have heard this talk "Most Of My Life." As things change, "The More They Remain The Same." 

Powell's group's response is that of a typical "Liberal." And guess what, expect Powell and members of his Alliance to be on Capitol Hill lobbying lawmakers for, "More Money." These people will never learn, "Money Is Not The Answer." But, people like Powell continue to throw "Billions Of Dollars Into A Failed Liberal Educational Sytem." But, the teacher's unions love Colin Powell. The money that he can get the Congress to pony up, the more money teachers and high priced administrators will make!

If you think some inner city young man is going to train for a job that will pay him minimun wage, you've got another thought coming. His focus will be on selling crack-cocaine. See, this is one of the problems in the Black community. There are no healthy role models. Black and Hispanic kids have as their role models, the pimps, prostitutes and drug dealers. Throw in a large dose of "Liberalism," and we have a recipe for "Total Disaster." This is the problem with our inner cities, "LIBERALISM." And it is "Liberalism" that has failed our inner city schools!

What is it that liberalism preaches? Well for starters, liberalism tells its victims, "You Will Never Amount To Anything." "It Is The Rich White Man Who Is The Cause Of Your Myriad Problems And Frustrations."

Tell me, when was the last time you heard either Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama preach "Self-Help?" You haven't, and you won't; because in order to survive, "Liberalism Must Have Victims." So, the message that goes forth is one of hopelessness, despair and anger!

This is why liberals are pushing so hard to legalize the millions of illegal aliens in this country. They need "More Victims." If you think the Clinton's Obama's, Kennedy's, ect. will say to these people, "Believe In Yourself," you have another thought coming. What these people will be taught is "Learned Helplessness." This is what has been taught to inner city African-Americans and Latinos for more than forty years!

America need not say those 1.2 million children dropping out of school every year, is the problem of "Blacks And Hispanics." This standardized report is a clarion call to "All Of America." Soon, these drop outs will become "All Of Our Problems." They will become our problems because many of these individuals will turn to a life of crime. Who will pay for their eventual litigation and incarceration? Right, "We Will." Still, many will become welfare recipients. Whose tax dollars fund this greedy monster? Right, "Our Tax Dollars."

Folks, liberalism has to be defeated. This is the only way to stop this cancer. This is why it is so important to vote; not only on a national level, but locally as well. Get to know your candidates; and vote for "True Conservatives."

You can no longer run and hide in the surburbs, because today's criminals are quite mobile. Either we establish a beachhead and say, "Liberalism Will Not Proceed Beyond This Point, Or We Are Looking At The End Of Society As We Currently Know It."

The clarion call has been sounded. The question is, "Will You Answer The Call?"

Aww come on Doc.......everybody wins, no one is better,everybody is equal in ability, sports just hurts the self esteem of those that dont play...its not if you get the right answer its how well you do in a group.......ok I was just being sarcastic...lol...Your right, yes sir, yes maam, please and thank you, you are responsible for your own actions, work hard and do well, Those tenets are slowly being supressed in society, starting at grade school, and the indoctrination continues into college, ..generations are growing up with this swill being pumped into their heads, and the results are clear....the "entitlement" crowd is growing like a rampant virus, and is just as destructive....riff

  3. Liberals don't want equal opportunity, they want equal results. Not going to happen. "It takes a village" to compensate for irresponsible parents.

    There's another adage that goes, "The best wine comes from stressed grapes." And there is some truth in that insomuch as some people that have achieved greatness were driven to it by poverty and other events of their childhoods. Carnegie comes to mind. He spent the first part of his life driven to make money and the later part of his life giving it away.

    My best living friend, and there are damned few left, happens to be "well tanned." One of his children is graduating from MIT before long. A feat few blacks could have dreamed of not so many years ago.

    Despite whatever obstacles, he and his children were destined to achieve. It's all about attitude. I, once, told him if he'd been born 200 years ago he'd have owned the damned plantation.

  5. Let's be realistic Dr. The most important thing to be defeated is Hillary. I'm if anything more Conservative than the next time but I'm also a realist. McCain or for that matter no Republican was going to win this time around. That being said, the priority has to be NO HILLARY. Even Jon Corzine has figured that out.

  6. Ed, I have always been a realist. I encourage you to look at my article again. Liberalism is not just about Hillary Clinton. It is about the ideology, its tenets, and principles. In my article I discuss cutting off the tentacles of liberalism, starting at your local level. Stopping Hillary is important. But, don't allow her to make you myopic! If she accomplishes this, "Liberalism Will Win, Despite What Happens To Her In The Next Month Or So."

  7. Believe me Dr. I understand liberalism. This time around however (the first time ever for me) I have to vote for a democrat. McCain is no more conservative than Hillary or Obama. The problem is that McCain is going to lose and Hillary is a lying menace. In addition, the number of young people swept up in Obamamania can only be good for America. Jimmy Carter of all people is endorsing Obama because his grandkids told him to. Letting Hillary sleaze in will kill the spirit of a generation or maybe two. The Obamamaniacs and those old enough to have always hated Hillary.

  8. Ed, I thought I hated Hillary. But, I think you've got me. You are right, McCain is a phoney. Conservative? He couldn't spell the word. I too am enthused over the young people and the spirit they bring to this campaign. Some pundits are trying to say that there are a lot of young people supporting Hillary. That sir, is plain unadulterated "Bullshit!" it is incredible at the lies and distortion the MSM makes up in defense of this fat woman. However, at the end of the day, she will lose the nomination; and John McCain will go down in flames to Obama. He is not in the same league as this young man. McCain will present as the avuncular type. But, this will not work, because he is an angry old man. Like Hillary, the presidency is something that he has coveted for sometime. He will have to dream!

  10. Patience Riff, she is on her way out, but she doesn't know it yet. After Obama kicks her fat ass in North Carolina and Indiana, the Superdelegates will run to Obama in droves. By the way, the latest poll in Pennsylvania shows the old bat ahead of Obama by only six and a half points. And she has an army of "Men" campaigning for her in the keystone state. If she wins Pennsylvania, she can not say she did it on her own. Thanks to this nitwit, we will never see a female presidential candidate come this close to either the democrat or republican nomination for president. When this is over, you will see a turned off electorate to women candidates. That's a shame! Hillary Clinton does not typify the average woman "Anywhere."

  11. DSont know why , but I have always liked Condi, I think it was how she stood up to all the liberal blowhards, like biden and reid, and peloopsi, and their ilk. IF she would throw her hat into the ring (which she has already declined to do) I'd vote just because of her.....riff

  12. WEL-L, she hasn't turned McCain down totally. The right arm twisting could change her mind. Unlike Hillary, this woman is a "True Patriot." Hillary is busily trying to shape this country into her image. This is why I loathe her so. Condi could restore respect to women with her entry into the race at McCain's Veep. He'd be a fool not to ask her. But, the guy has proven time and time again, what an idiot he is.

  13. Condi would have won this election had she ran. You are right Dr. Obama has turned PA into a horserace. I am working feverishly trying to find a democrat to get me tickets for the debate.

    If I get them and before I say yes to Barry, I'll give you another shot.

  14. Thanks buddy, but I've got so many irons in the fire at present. Give the old battleaxe hell. I saw that lying, fat Pennsylvania Governor on Meet The Press this morning. The Clinton team continues to move the goal post. They are now saying they will argue that Hillary is more electable because she has shown she can win the big states. How stupid is that? Now, these people are saying they are clairvoyant. Common sense says, just because she won a democrat primary in Ohio does not translate into a victory in the general election. There are so many things that will occur between now and November. Play by the rules, "Rendell." Obama is leading in pledged delegates, leading with the popular vote, and leading in primaries won. Hillary Clinton is second, and that is how far she will get. I thought Russert did an awful job on questioning Rendell on the sleazy Clinton tax returns. But, Russert and company are in the tank for this pathological liar!

  17. Dugg, you are right. It is criminal, what liberals have done to the public educational system. And to think, the kids of today are the ones who are expected to lead this country. When you look at the level of narcissism in our country, and the growth of socialism, I fear that our great democracy will be a thing of the past in the next 50-100 years. The mores of this country have changed so much.
