"IT'S LIKE SHOOTING FISH IN A BARREL"

I take no pleasure in saying, "I Told You So," but when will our liberal colleges and universities abandon their insane "Gun Free Zones Policies?"

The people who go on wild shooting sprees understand that "No-One Will Be Armed, " because of the crazy policies of school administrators. The gunmen can pick and choose their targets, literally! It hasn't happened yet, but the anti-gun nuts will be on the airwaves soon, preaching the same "Sucidal Messages." "If Only We Had Stricter Gun Control Laws." They can not be that damn stupid. Anyone who has made it up in his or her mind to kill someone with a firearm, will do just that, kill as many people as they can with a firearm, "Strict Gun Control Laws, Be Damned."

You have probably heard by now that there was another "Slaughter" at yet another American higher learning institution. This time, the location was Dekalb, Ilinois, where a former Graduate student shot and killed seven people at Northern Illinois University; and apparently turned one of his weapons on himself, taking his own life. Sixteen other people were wounded by the gunman, wrongly called, "The Shooter," by the socialists press. Police say this "Rambo" like gunman, was dressed in all black. They say he opened a door on the stage where the instructor was lecturing. Armed with a shotgun, and two pistols, this nut opened fire on the defenseless students. It was at this time that the carnage began.

Now, the typical Monday morning quarterbacking will begin. You will hear all kinds of dumb solutions for stopping armed gunmen on university campuses. None of these solutions put forth by "Ultra-Liberals" will include:

* Arming professors

* Allowing students with concealed carry permits to bring their pistols to school

Until these libs get their heads from up their rear orifice, expect to hear about more school shootings. In the sick mind of the gunmen, "A Sealed Off Classroom Is The Perfect Place To Inflict Maximum Damage!" And all of the credit goes to chicken-hearted, lib university administrators.

So, let the "Cumba Ya Songs Began." Let's hear some phony anchor tell the victims, "Our Prayers Are With You." What a crock that is. Thse self-centered people are only interested in themselves, and how to exploit their next victims. So please, "Enough Of, Our Prayers Are With You."

Frankly, I am tired of these idiots placing our children in harms way because they don't have the stones to do the right thing. And that is:

"ELIMINATE "ALL" GUN FREE ZONES ON OUR NATION'S COLLEGE CAMPUSES! AND GIVE THESE KIDS A FIGHTING CHANCE"

Im not "that" old...I remember going to school with a .22 and a 12ga in the back window of the truck, along with a fishing pole or two haha....and when deer season hit ....omg....you could have armed a battalion with all the assorted deer rifles, and pistols....all parked outside the school. There is something to be said about the "small town" mentality. Thing like that shooting are relativly rare....at least among the law abiding crowd. Now in a few of the neiboring towns , there is a close enough proximity to Austin , and San Antonio, (and other big cities for that matter)...so that some of the trash has joined the local population..namely crack dealers, and meth makers, and the associated human flotsum that go along with that. Thank god, that I have my little girl in a "backward, close minded, podunk" little town...She is more worried about getting to her cheer class and homework, instead of having to deal with the local "ganbangers union" on the way to school....I can recall ONCE, that a gang tried to take root in my home town....called themselves the city boys.....lets just say that one night about 30 "backward rednecks" in trucks ( I callzem good ole boys"..lol) blocked them in at a traffic light, one night at about 2am. and had a heart to heart talk with them. Just between you and me, if 30 of these big cornfed football playing 150 to 250 lb german, czech, irish descended farmboy behemouths "asked" me to leave, I would GTFO...That was back in the 80's and nobody has tried to seed the area again...Damn small town mentality....lol....riff...the small town backwards country boy..:mrgreen:

  2. Great story Riff. In his book, "More Guns, Less Crime," Dr. John Lott backs up with stats, that criminals will avoid a home that he thinks contains a firearm. Now, couple that with the small town that you live in, a career criminal will catch the first thing smoking before even thinking of breaking into a home there. Liberals will never understand this. The reason, I truly believe that deep down inside, liberals love pain. The more the better. I too come from a small town in Virginia. Everybody knows one another. And yes, there is a 12 gauge in nearly every home. Burglaries are non-existent. I've got a few NRA sickers on my fron and back doors. One reads, "Do You Believe In Life After Death? Try Breaking Into This Home! I also fly my Marine Corps flag out front. If some asshole is that stupid to ignore these warning, it's his funerals. I have a 12 guage with 00 buckshot by my bed; and also a .45 stoked with 230 grain JHP bullets. My training goes back to when I was a child in Virginia. Let's just say shooting is second nature with me, with either hand. My wish is for "Every American" who wishes, to own at least one handgun and a shotgun.

  5. I saw this idiot on Fox last night debating another college professor. The idiot is against professors or student carrying concealed on campus. He said, "You Might Scare People." Typical lib response. First of all idiot, the person carrying the pistol is doing so in a concealed manner. If he branishes his weapon, he will lose his license. Secondly, the purpose for allowing people to carry is to stop this craziness that will go on as long as we allow idiots like this to write safety policies for our students on campus. They keep relying on the police. I don't need a cop to do something that I can do for myself. Besides, the courts have ruled that the police "Don't Have A duty To Answer Your Call For Help."

  6. I mostly have at arms lenght a "SCATTER GUN" ... cause I almost always am on the look out for birds an small game. Squirrels are had by my .22 "SCOPED" for 50 -150 ft. when I say "RANGE ME" it isnt like it used to be, but the small close in's get fun and if only for a moment a return to that "HUNTER GATHERER" SENSATION IS GREAT !!!! Then there are the "SNAKES" .... Got a "RUSH" A TIME OR TWO WHEN I FIND NESTS OF RATTLERS. now I live further away from those ...

  10. Criminals aren't stupid. When they know that they could be drawng their last breath because a citizen has leveled the playing field with a firearm of their own, they will move onto to "A Liberal." Or someone who has been drinking the libs kool-aid!
