"ANTI-GUNNERS ARE DEALT A DEVASTATING BLOW"

By now, you have probably heard that the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit has sent the anti-gun movement crowd into a state of panic.

The Federal Appeals Court threw out the District of Columbia's ban against individuals owning handguns. The court thus shot down D.C's bogus argument that the Second Amendment only applies to the military. In a 2-1 ruling, the court said that the activities protected by the Second Amendment:

"Are not limited to militia services, nor is an individual's enjoyment of the right contingent on enrollment in a militia"

The court told fear mongering politicians in D.C. that they have no constitutional right to ban citizens from keeping handguns in their domiciles. This historic ruling also went a step further. The court struck down a ridiculous D.C. law that said citizens had to not only have their firearms registered, but they had to also keep them unloaded and disassembled. How insane is that? By the way, nothing was said regarding conceal carry weapons(CCW).

The Mayor of D.C., Adrian Fenty quickly said that the ruling would be appealed. Then this man who has abridged the rights of his citizens said something that shocked even this writer. Fenty, a liberal democrat declared:

"I am personally, deeply disappointed and quite frankly outraged"

Now, that comment takes nerve. Here we have a Mayor who advocates depriving American citizens of a basic Constitutional/human right, saying that he is outraged. If anything, it should be the good citizens of Washington, D.C. who should be outraged over the words of this draconian little man. However, Fenty's position is typical of liberals. Liberals love being in control of people: and they love having individuals "Dependent On Them." This is a clear case of how liberals covet power over "We The People."

Instead of applauding the Federal Appeals Court's decision, Fenty and other anti-gun proponents assailed this ruling. Why is this man who has police protection so adamantly opposed to citizens having the right to protect themselves against the night crawlers in their city? Again, the answer can be found in the liberal's manual of "Dependence and Learned Helplessness."

Fenty would rather see innocent people murdered rather then be given the chance to defend themselves. His assistant police chief read what amounted to be a prepared statement from Sarah Brady's group. He cited the same old lame reason as to why citizens should not be allowed to arm themselves. The assistant chief said that if D.C. residents are allowed to armed themselves, young people would in essence turn the city into a bloodbath. I wanted to ask him, you mean things would get worse? Like D.C. is a model city for non-violence. Get real Mr. police chief!!!

This dumbo and the rest of those against Americans exercising their Second Amendment Rights know full well that "More Guns Cause Less Crime." He shoud read John Lott's book on this subject. But then, people like that aren't interested in the truth. Come to think of it, what liberal that you know is interesting in the truth? Liberals are good at muddying the water with their nonsense. They lack the ability to form a coherent argument on most societal issues.

The issue of guns is no different. Each time a court rules in favor of CCW's, I can guarantee you that a liberal will come out with a frightening message of, "The Streets Will Run Red With Blood." Guess what? It has never happened. But, that hasn't stopped these purveyors of misinformation.

By the way, the lone dissenter in the D.C. case, Judge Karen Henderson wrote that the Second Amendment does not apply to the Nation's Capitol, because it is not a state. Honestly, she wrote that. And this woman is suppose to be intelligent.

Again, liberals don't make sense when they argue the dynamics of societal issues.

This case will probably wind its way all the way up to the U.S. Supreme Court. If so, it will be the first case of its kind to reach the Supremes in almost 70-years.

Here is hoping that the Justices will finally settle this matter once and for all.

Then, Sarah Brady and her legion of anti-gun nuts will have to find another line of work.

  1. POLITICIANS PREFER UNARMED CITIZENS....THEY FEEL SAFER THAT WAY ! Why would they feel unsafe ? because of thier guilty little minds for thier dirty deeds done to cripple this great country and try to make it another communist country which btw isnt even communist anymore cause they learned "IT DONT PAY TO BE COMMY ANYWAY" !!!

  2. As Americans, we had better wake up before it is too late. Anytime that a police department advocates that its citizenry be disarmed, should indeed be a major wake up call to all of us who love life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. How these people can twist the Second Amendment around like a piece of putty, is utterly amazing to me. This piece of legislation is quite simplistic in its logic. The Framers wanted it that way. Yet these dunderheads who are intoxicated with power, are attempting to take this meaning and make it into something else. It has been shown time and time again that those who control the munitions and or ordnances, control the people. Wake up America.

  3. Not only that but look at how the red light traffic camera is now everywhere ! I think that the camera mailing you a ticket is unconstitutional do to the fact it is not a crime witnessed by a credible source such as a cop, a citizen. while video has its advantages it shouldnt be taken as flawless. think of the expounding potiential. the camera used as an instant ticket generator is only for the benefit of municipality who needs money but doesnt have a single officer !!!

  5. evryone knows this but are unwilling to do what must be done. In politics its the will of the people subtigated by the desires of the professional politician ! presently, the professional politician does what his party wants him to do vote a certain way,hold out on certain votes etc. The professional politician doesnt even know what the people want and then when asked only the whimps voice thier opinion while the strong are tired from working all day and leave it to others to tend to the matter at hand!this is where it must change! hard workin men and women need to be accomadated most urgentlyexample. voting booths need to stay open longer for those with odd schedules and more....

  6. The American public must also ween itself off of the big three network (NEWS) propaganda each evening. They must be willing to go elsewhere to get the truth: opposed to a nightly brainwashing:because that is what is happening to them. They don't realized that their views are not theirs--but rather the thoughts of Williams, Gibson, and that little creep, Katie Couric.

  8. Of course liberals don't make sense. If their thoughts were logical they would be Conservatives. There is no possible way to express the liberal agenda because there isn't any. Only a series of knee jerk reactions, sucking up to whichever way today's wind is blowing and failing to present any positive new ideas.

  9. I agree with all that you say. However, these are very dangerous people, whose main objective is to tear down everything that is American. Therefore, they warrant careful monitoring. There are also some RINO'S who deserve to be equally watched. People like Arlen Specter, Susan Collins, Michael Bloomberg, etc. These people can be just as toxic as socialists libs.   10. You know Dr. Lewis..Barry G..1st things 1st....1. Identify by name and location, those who are intent on bringing America to its knees. 2.Publish the information on a regular basis like clock work so anyone knows right where and when to find this info. 3.(blank for now)
    I would 1st identify Rosie o'donald as one in fact 1st one on the list of "SUBVERSIVE" intended on bring down America to a HOMO issue and agenda. more later.

  15. Lifetime television for women is a "MAN HATING" show I would like to see gone as much as your "PINO" but "PINO" is good at telling me what to some extent is going on in the mind of these asshole. Lifetime is just beating the "NOW" agenda which has been going on for 35 years mabe longer.

  17. pino is just the tip of the proverbial iceberg and really only rep's a section. A starting point for you. I want the real assholes who have dedicated thier lives to bringing U.S.A. to its "HUMBLE AND HUMULIATED KNEES" IF YOU WILL. I have heard a lot of people saying "WE" the U.S. have "ASSERTED" our "WILL' upon those who didnt want it ! ie: 3rd world "conditional" help. WTF ???? WE have financed the entire world and asked for "HUMANITARIAN" RIGHTS TO BE "HONORED' BY THOSE WHO DIDNT HAVE ANY REGARD FOR HUMANITY BEFORE ! AND PROBABLY HID THE ATROSITIES IF INTERVIEWED. TO BE CONTINUED.....

  18. continued... look at 3rd world nations in Africa. We give them billions of dollars for clean water projects and food /crop production and thier government owns these dollars for thier monarky not entirely what the dollars were ment for........
